Who’s behind this award-winning software?

Mike began his career as a Quality Assurance Collateral Duty inspector for Marine Corps Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462. After years of honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces and multiple overseas deployments, he joined BeSafe in 2006 as a Field Representative. With well over a decade specializing in project management, on-site inspections, CAD design/QA, product implementation and client support, his efforts have been instrumental in BeSafe’s growth. Mike was appointed CEO of BeSafe Technologies in 2021 and continues to collaborate with schools and first responders to promote safer working and learning environments.

Kevin has held various public safety roles in state and local government for over 25 years. In 1999 he created the BeSafe system and continues his efforts to promote safer working and learning environments. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Public Administration.

Michael is a seasoned technology leader with over 18 years in senior roles at BlueMetal, Insight and Infusion (now Avanade), where he designed and deployed solutions ranging from AI-driven IoT to algorithmic trading systems, business-critical ERP and consumer mobile and web applications. He has led over 100 technologists, delivering products to customers from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.

Kathy is a co-founder of BeSafe. She has worked to expand the company by providing financial guidance and direction, and has worked in all facets of the business including fieldwork, production and office management. She currently heads our Support Department.

Michael has over 25 years’ experience launching and growing profitable businesses. At Xerox, Sun (Oracle) and Infusion (Avanade) he delivered multi-million-dollar technology solutions and consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. He developed and patented ozone technology used to sanitize PPE for first responders, law enforcement, universities and professional athletes.

From 1973 until 2006, Tom was a teacher, prevention specialist and principal, and in 2004 was appointed superintendent of the Barnstable, Massachusetts school system. Tom has extensive experience as a school administrator and understands first-hand the importance of school safety planning.
